JALA is a multidisciplinary, international forum devoted to the advancement of technology in the laboratory. Six peer-reviewed issues are published per year, each issue offering original reports, technical reviews, and tutorials about commercially available technologies and the technologies that are shaping the laboratory of the future. Laboratory automation impacts the careers and daily lives of technologists, supervisors, managers and directors. JALA is the premier journal for this diverse audience.
